Will aggressively work to repeal "Obamacare."

Introduce business principles and competition into our healthcare system by allowing every Tennessean the opportunity to purchase health insurance policies across state lines.

Support medical liability/tort reform that will eliminate or limit frivolous lawsuits against doctors, nurses, and medical centers.

Sponsor legislation that will provide an opportunity for all Tennesseans to have access to tax free healthcare savings accounts.

Allow small businesses to pool together to qualify for group health insurance programs.

Support long term care legislation that gives seniors more flexibility so they can stay in their own home and not be forced into a nursing home.

Reduce our State's nursing shortage by expanding nursing programs at Tennessee colleges and universities.
